St. George Campsite

Everything is...Perfect!!  Well, sort of.  I have a new grandmother.  (That's the good part!) Her name is Judy Potter Moss (now).  (Here comes the bad part :( )   My family and I drove to St. George on Friday.  We stayed at a campground called Red Cliffs, located just before St. George, to sleep for the night.  I don't have enough time to post the pictures about "Hyrum's Ant Bite" but I can tell the story.
HYRUM'S ANT BITE
We had just finished dinner, and Hyrum decided to be "helpful" by dumping out the water from the wash bucket (about 1 1/2' by 8") onto the ground.  Then he went to the water spout and filled the bucket back up with new clean water.  He brought the bucket back to our campsite, and set it on the table.  Now, ants DO NOT like it when people dump things on their homes.  No, they do not, and Hyrum's screaming proved it.  You can guess what happened next.  Some of the ants climbed on the cement, and roamed around, looking for an ankle to force their anger on.  Yep.  That happened to be Hyrum's ankle.  Unfortunately, Hyrum was not expecting this, so he decided to scream.  Not your usual yelling/crying.  He was screaming, like bloody-murder screaming.  We could not get him to calm down.  As you will soon see from his facial expressions, in the pictures, it was painful.  That is the story of Hyrum's Ant Bite. So remember:  Ants DO NOT like it when people dump things on their homes.

Pretty interesting huh?  My favorite part was when our German neighbors started laughing at us.  Ya.  That was funny.  I bet it wasn't for Hyrum though!  :)  Love you Hyrum!! You are the best baby brother EVER!!!

Fashionista Becca, I'm not a professsional, as you can see, but I'll get better! :)

This is probably my favorite dress out of Becca's Wardrobe.  I sewed it myself, and used my fav button to help secure the back together.

Like the flowers?  They are pinned on, since I was lazy the day I made this for her, I was sick of sewing!
These are of Becca in her "Princess Dress", sadly, I didn't make this dress, but all the others I did!!

These Pic's are of Becca in our backyard tree.  In the one below, you can see parts of the base of our treehouse.
Below:  This is a picture of Becca "picking strawberries"  in our strawberry patch out front.

These are Pictures I took of Becca yesterday, yeah, it's a good thing I don't work for a photoshop! :)

No chores! But with a price.

Hey everybody!!!  Everything is... wonderful-ish so far.  Yesterday though, was a bit much.  This is how I got out of my chores.  So I was unloading the dishwasher, and I put one of our cups on top of another one, already in the drawer, and it broke.  Yep.  We have the small glass cups from IKEA (the awesomest store in the world, right up there next to Hobby Lobby!) that are really wonderful, and usually don't break, but one did. (I have no idea why, I mean, I was stacking the cups!)  But, luckily, it only broke into two pieces so there wasn't a big mess.  I decided that I "wasn't" being stupid while I was playing with the piece, trying to see if I could fit it exactly in where it broke in the first place, and I dropped it.  Right.  On.  My.  Foot.  Yep.  It didn't hurt very much, so I assumed it was just a scratch, but after, like, five seconds, it started hurting more, so I shoved my other foot (right foot) on top of it, to pressurize the blood (if there was going to be any).  So I was standing there, wobbling, cause my foot was on top of the other one, and I was holding the broken glass (luckily it didn't break into lots of pieces since my poor left foot broke it's fall).  I tried to turn around without falling over, to put the glass in the trash can, but there was no bag in it, so I couldn't, so I just gave it to my mom (who at the time, was yelling at Kayla to put a bag in the can).  Then I tried (and failed) to hop/wobble to the bathroom, so I could wash off my newly acquired wound, but I didn't want to get blood on the floor from one foot, and I didn't want to hurt the other even more, so that's how I failed (at getting to the bathroom).  Fortunately though, I made it, even though after I had to wipe off a bit of blood from the floor.  I got in the tub and washed it off.  Then I got a band-aid on it and since it was bleeding like crazy, my mom told me to go sit on the couch and raise it on a pillow.  Hyrum (my ADORABLE little brother) was feeling bad for me, so he got me a pillow (he's only four) and some blankets and stuff to  "help me get better."  So I didn't have to finish unloading the dishwasher.  Instead I got to read.

First Post

Hello everybody!!  Today Everything is...wonderful, but I'm really tired.  This is my first post!! Is everyone excited?!?!?!  I had the privilege of getting up at 6:00, to go on a walk to the temple, Step by Step.  As a stake, in preparation for camp, we decided to walk all the way to the Provo temple, from Foothill Elementary in Orem.  It was really fun.  And although I did not come in first with Tali and Maren, we got third, or (if you want better) the first group to get there walking.  Whichever you'd prefer.  When we got there, we had time to sit and ponder around the temple.  When we almost had turned the corner, I had the fear that we might have had to walk more, but when I turned the corner, all I saw was the temple, and at that very moment, the sun decided to come out from behind the clouds for a split second.  All I thought was, "We're here at last!  We're at the Temple!"  Even though I was tired, and a bit sore (and I had a nasty blister at the back of my heel) I knew it was all worth it.  How I am glad that we are privileged enough to have a temple, if not three or four, to be there when we need it.  And that ends the  final words of my FIRST POST!!!!
